JOIN A PEACE RALLY - PRESIDENT BUSH IN VIRGINIA, FEB. 3

President Bush will be speaking at the annual retreat of House Democrats at Kingsmill (near Williamsburg). The event has already been noticed by the national media, as it is unprecedented that Bush would speak to a meeting of House Democrats.

DATE: SATURDAY, FEB. 3TIME: 9:30 - 11:30 amLOCATION: AT THE GATE INTO 'KINGSMILL

DIRECTIONS: From I 64, get off at Exit 242A (toward Williamsburg, Busch Gardens/Jamestown). Go 1.4 miles. This is the location of the rally.PARKING: There is plenty of public parking around this area. there are side streets off Kingsmill Road that have office buildings with parking lots that should be empty on Saturday. Parking is permitted along many of the side streets. It is CRITICAL that we have a huge attendance at this Peace Rally. We expect lots of people will be coming from Richmond and Hampton Roads, and all points in between and nearby. Our demonstration is directed not only at George Bush, because he is not listening anyway. We will also be strongly directing our messages to the House Democrats, because they need to listen NOW. They need to take a stand NOW. Enough is enough! Our Peace Rally is be endorsed by national and local peaceorganizations: The Virginia Anti-War Network and otherendorsing organizations: TrueMajority, PeaceSurge, Hampton Roads Peace and Justice Coalition. CCPJ also endorses this event. Please plan to attend, and help to demonstrate to Congress and theentire country that eastern Virginia wants a quick end to Bush's War in Iraq. Invite as many family and friends as you can, especially young people. Tomorrow's world belongs to them. Please forward this message to as many people as possible right now. Some suggested items you might bring Saturday:* Signs & Banners (of course)* Drums, Bells and other noise/music makers* U.S.Flags & Red,White,Blue BalloonsPeace is patriotic, and the conservatives have tried to co-opt the concept of patriotism for the past 40 years. When they try to misuse our language, and co-opt symbols, we need to respond. This is why we also need to respond right now to Bush's so-called 'troop surge' with a PeaceSurge. We can take it back.If you have any ideas or questions, please e-mail me. Let's think big. We will succeed.Clayton Lory norfolkpeacesurge@yahoo.com
