Whoo-Hoo headed to the Codepink House in June

Yay! I have been accepted for a week of activist training at the Codepink house in June. I can't wait to get there!

Mother's Day D.C.

Codepink's mother's day festival outside the White House was a spectacularly moving event. It was a painful, yet poignant moment to see all of the names of Iraq War dead and Julia Ward Howe's words tied to the White House fence. The sights and sounds of the day will stay with me for a long time.
